Medical Assistant II (certified)

Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant II assists Physicians and all Nursing staff with basic clinical and administrative tasks, assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as directed by established clinic protocol.  Duties include clinic maintenance and preparation for patients.  The Medical Assistant II is also expected to assist in administrative duties.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

Ø  High School Degree.

Ø  State of Pennsylvania Certified Medical Assistant.

Ø  Maintains current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification (CPR).

Ø  Six months to one year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ø  Skilled in performing basic clinical/administrative and medical procedures.

Ø  Good communication and organizational skills.

Ø  Strong patient satisfaction orientation.
