CUSO Financial Services, L.P., a National Broker Dealer serving financial institution investment programs, is growing, and is seeking an Internal Control & Mutual Fund Operations Director to join our fun and successful organization in Scripps Ranch. The Internal Control & Mutual Fund Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the corporate back office operations in regards to customer service quality and adherence to company and regulatory policies and procedures.  The position will audit procedures and maintain the Operations Manual for representatives, in addition to managing desktop procedures for all Operations functions.  Position supervises one staff member within the department and is responsible for providing back-up to all operational functions, including researching and resolving difficult situations as requested. 

The Internal Control & Mutual Fund Operations Director reviews department financials monthly and works with Accounting to balance and audit Pershing write-offs, sundry charges and miscellaneous expenses.  Participates in systems projects, as assigned. Support the SVP of Operations and Trading on department and firm initiatives.  

Position Requirements

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • Must have minimum of 7-8+ years in a supervisory role experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 are required
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to six years of related industry experience and/or training
  • Must have a clean U-4
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must possess good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
