Project Manager 


Position Summary:     The Project Manager applies principles, practices, and techniques to develop project plans.  The Project Manager shall coordinate projects, communicate changes and lead project team activities to control projects schedule and cost.

Essential Duties:

Develop implementation, scope, execution plans, resource requirements, and project cost estimating for assigned projects.  Provide leadership for multifunctional teams consisting of individuals and third party suppliers/vendors responsible for different elements of the project execution plan.

  • Organize the strategic planning process and ensure that critical data and results are part of the process and included in the project execution plan.
  • Clearly identify and fully communicate project member key roles and responsibilities.
  • Document and schedule critical activities to ensure they occur as required. Ensure the schedule is periodically updated and deliverables from the scheduled activities are appropriately reviewed and acted upon.
  • Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks and protect the project team from outside distractions.

The Project Manager shall coordinate project activities with departmental and facility management.

Perform administrative activities associated with effective project management including: fully define project scope, project cost estimating, production execution plans, Gantt charts, final project evaluation report (desire project deliverables verses actual project outcome), and lessons learned summary.

The Project Manager shall maintain effective input, communication, and alignment between teams, decision makers, and stakeholders.  Provide routine progress reports as specified for the individual projects. 

Develop new product line Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and define quality testing requirements.  Assist with employee training to transfer the new product line to the Fabrication Department.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Base Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business, management, engineering or closely related field or the equivalent knowledge, education and experience.   
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with ISCOmmunity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and proficiency of ISCO operations and culture as gained through successful/fully competent performance in performing ISCO operations based job(s).
