Description Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the entire facility and grounds. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to signing off on the proper sanitation documents, keeping track of chemical usage such as titration of his/her own chemical on a daily basis, working in a safe and efficient manner at all times. This includes but is not limited to all process equipment, piping, over heads , packaging equipment, walls, floors, lighting fixtures and ceilings, surface cleaning of equipment with use of foamer, CIP of circuits, tearing down, inspection, sterilizing and reassembly of equipment and piping by hand, and hand cleaning of tools as well as their proper storage. Will work in a wet environment with sanitizing chemical, which will require the employee to wear Personal Protective equipment such as goggles, face shields, rain coats, chemical resistant gloves, hearing protection, and any other Personal Protective Equipment that is required by internal Hazard Analysis or MSDS requirements. May be required to work in tight surroundings, at heights, under decks and equipment, as well as at floor level.

This position starts with a wage of $17.91 per hour.  
Position Requirements • Experience with food manufacturing sanitation processes required.
• Responsible for operating floor scrubbing equipment, pressure washer and dry ice cleaner.
• Requires excellent observation and auditing skills and a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to operate a forklift for purpose of removing and disposal of trash and recyclables
• Must be able to read and understand Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP's) and execute as described.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the "English Language" in order to process SSOP's, interpret chemical Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and communicate cleaning status.
• Must be able to climb, crawl, and push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
