Description

The Process Supervisor is accountable for all Refinery activities during a 12 hour shift of the Lou Ana Division refinery, a 7 day / 24 hour processing facility with bulk loading/unloading, refining, bleaching, deodorization, hydrogenation, winterization, acidulation, waste water treatment, steam generation, landfarm capabilities, and for overall management of specific processes.

Coordinate operator tasks and projects.

Coordinate all bulk oil shipments and all oil pumping.

Coordinate personnel training and assure quality products and safe operation.

Coordinate Maintenance, Quality Control and Security activities and personnel while working during non-business hours.

Complete process reports, budget reports, etc.

 
Position Requirements

 

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
2 year manufacturing experience is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience is helpful.
 
Thorough knowledge of vegetable oil operations and vegetable oil chemistry.
Demonstrated ability in mathematics and science is required.  
Strong leadership skills.  
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AS400.
