Job Title:  Sales Support

Reports to:  Sales Manager

Salary:  $9.00 per hour (no commission)

Classification:  Part Time with the potential for Full Time


Job Purpose:

Cold and Warm calls to prospects or clients. Outbound Calls might be to discuss new product or service, invite caller to conference or webinar or follow up on status. Emphasis placed on consultative approach. Auto-dialer is in use. Performance standards are campaign driven.

Job Duties:

  • Establishes new account sales by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call existing or potential sales opportunities.
  • Evaluates potential sales opportunities by percent probability to Close and works those with highest potential to meet sales targets.
  • Keeps management informed by updating Contact database with relevant and updated information.
  • Effectively communicates with prospects via email and phone. Reflects positive, professional image of the product and the Company.
  • Changes direction with ease, and looks for opportunities to leverage knowledge and contacts to improve results.
Position Requirements
  • Experience telemarketing / selling or similar persuasive skills.
  • Demonstrated 30 calls per hour minimum.
  • Proficient level of written and verbal communication skills appropriate in a sales environment.
  • Ability to effectively initiate new customer contacts and convert them to sales.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office software environment.
  • Effective use of time management skills.
