Job Title: ADOBE Document Specialist

                              PART TIME

Reports to: Operations Manager

Open Date: May 2013

Department: IT

Salary/Classification: $10.00/hr - $12.00/hr

Other: Part-time, number of hours vary per week-up to 35hrs. per week, flexible schedule

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to provide support by converting various MS Office files and documents to ADOBE Acrobat X Professional V10 and verify documents are 508 compliant.

Position Duties:

  • Convert MS Office documents (Word/Excel) to ADOBE files.
  • Manipulate lists, tables, and picture/illustrations. Bookmark items, review and proof documents for errors including formatting, spelling and other content related items.
  • Work well with other team members including vendors, operational and technical staff.  
  • Various projects as assigned.

Computer Skills testing required

Position Requirements

Special Preferred Requirements:

Service Disabled Veteran, Veteran, or Disabled person preferred


  • At least an Associate's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Expert in ADOBE Acrobat X Professional Version 10.
  • MS Office Suite 2010 (Excel, Word).
  • Strong editorial skills.
  • High attention to detail, Patience, Organized and ability to manage time well, Computer Skills, Judgment, Professionalism, Deadline Driven, Self-Motivated, Follow Up Skills and Organizational Skills.
