Cascade Asset Management, the nation’s premiere computer refurbishing and recycling company, has an opening for an Operational Floater.  Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to do regular overnight travel.  All employees MUST pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.

This is a fast paced opportunity for a smart, friendly, and dependable worker.  Applicants must have a clean driving record, excellent attention to detail and high quality customer service skills.  Starting hourly wage $13.52-$15.55 based on experience, plus benefits.


The Operations Floater is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by working in three primary areas:

 1) Conducting customer pick ups with up to a 26 foot box truck at customer sites, often on overnight assignments

 2) Conducting physical inventory and facilitating the movement of equipment through the warehouse

 3) Testing equipment, electronically wiping data from storage devices, performing repairs, and maintaining an inventory of equipment


The Operations Floater must be skilled and knowledgeable in all three areas of the warehouse and at times may assist with other duties when directed by the warehouse supervisor or manager. 

Position Requirements -MUST pass required background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
-Willingness for regular overnight travel
-Clean driving record required
-High quality customer services skills
-Proven attention to detail
-Ability to navigate, follow directions, and use GPS
-Experience with inventory, testing, shipping and demanufacturing of electronics
-Proficiency with troubleshooting computer hardware a plus Forklift certification a plus
-Internally motivated to accomplish tasks on time
-Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
-Flexibility and capability to work on a variety of tasks which change often
-Proficient using computers to aid in activities; including use of database, email, Internet, Microsoft Word, and Excel and other applications

1. Customer Pickups and Driving (competencies include customer service, safety, decision making)
-Provide direct service to customers at job site by promoting a positive image of Cascade, answering customer's questions, follow-up with customers when they have logistics questions, work with vendors to ensure items are delivered as requested
-Load and transport customer equipment safely and securely
-Operate Cascade equipment in a safe and proper manner
-Maintain clean driving record

2. Inventory (competencies include attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, priority setting)
-Accurately record and track inventory through an inventory management system in the warehouse or at a customer's site
-Efficiently control and manage the receipt of inventory at Cascade
-Appropriately sort and stage inventory for processing

3.Refurbishing (competencies include problem solving, technical skills)
-Test equipment and record diagnostic information about equipment
-Wipe electronic storage devices using Cascade's data wiping software
-Understand and comply with Cascade's Data Security Policies and Procedures -Perform basic repair and upgrades of equipment
-Stage and prepare processed equipment for shipment

4. Warehouse duties
-Maintain a clean and safe working environment
-Understands and upholds all Cascade safety policies and ISO 14001 standards
-Stage equipment for recycling, resale or redeployment
-Package and prepare equipment for shipment
-Other duties as assigned
