Description

Functional Responsibilities:

Reviews and analyzes to ensure ITCC operations are measured according to performance standards defined by government representatives, contract deliverables, internal metrics and industry best practices.  Monitors performance of ongoing, establishes and oversees contract measurement and reporting.  Develop, provide input and present Senior Management and USSTRATCOM Leadership briefing material related to Performance monitoring and measures.

 

In addition to the standard skills, the Performance Monitoring and Metric Analyst shall have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects, and manage complexity.
  • Experience with software used by Management and the Project Management group, including but not limited to:

        Microsoft Project

        Microsoft Exchange

        Microsoft Excel

        Microsoft Power Point

 

  • Ability to aggressively collaborate and gain assistance from Contractor and Government support staff assistance in establishing and monitoring performance measures.
  • Ability to appropriately escalate issues/performance indicators to the correct manager for resolution.

 

Responsibilities:  The Performance Monitoring and Metric Analyst is responsible for:

  • Determining and establishing ITCC program and USSTRATCOM system/service performance measures. With the following organizational goals:
    1. Ensure the availability of existing system/service capabilities
    2. Utilize available staff resources efficiently
    3. Timely desponse to USSTRATCOM Mission Requests for new features or services
    4. Ensure the successful implementation of system changes
    5. Ensure Capacity Management of existing system/service capabilities

 

  • Define key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Maintain standard leadership briefs and/or dashboards.
  • Responsible for collaborating with Line of Service Leads for producing Remedy queue status and metrics reports.
  • Responsible for tracking and providing status reports on PWS performance measures/SLA and incentive targets, ensuring that targets are met and giving notification to the proper levels of management when performance measures/SLAs and incentive targets are at risk of not being met.
  • Support the Service Delivery Manager is his/her role as the Service Level Process Manager.
  • Create and maintain a performance monitoring tool inventory
  • Create and maintain a performance monitoring road map.
 

Position Requirements

Possesses requisite knowledge and expertise so recognized in the professional community that the Government is able to qualify the individual as an expert in the field.  Subject matters range from non-engineering disciplines such as finance and business to quasi-engineering disciplines, such as SLA development and metrics.  Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication skills.  Provides leadership position in specific areas of expertise.

  • DOD Secret clearance is required
  • Five years of related experience
  • Bachelors degree in a related area
