Job Description:

OSC Computer Support Administrator/Video-Teleconferencing Services

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform and enforce IA policies and procedures in compliance with DISA STIGs and AFNETOPS directives for C2 and Intelligence Systems. Maintain, load, safeguard, and destroy cryptographic material provided by the government in support of assigned VTC equipment as required by the COR elected for the meeting and conduct   
  • Act as the central contact responsible for scheduling and organizing point to point and multipoint audio and videoconferences conferences
  • Ensure that each videoconference room is reserved as required by the QAP
  • Coordinate with users and remote site facilitators on special equipment or room configuration requirements
  • Provide an overview of the videoconferencing setting as options (mode, microphone use, etc.) remote and onsite videoconferencing training for room facilitators, conference participants and equipment users
  • Track and manage utilization of video conferencing rooms. To include the following tasks: Maintain, troubleshoot and remediate VTC suite, conduct periodic test calls, support all video conferencing equipment and peripheral devices, contact enterprise videoconferencing technical support staff should technical issues arise and assist in advanced troubleshooting, load and configure videoconferencing software applications, troubleshoot connection anomalies to ensure optimum operation in compliance with Defense Intelligence Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and AFNETOPS directives
  • Be available at COR identified VTCs for immediate problem identification and resolution
  • Site Specific Services Required/Information (must support):
  1. Equipment in the maintenance listing is distributed throughout the ACC Ryan Center, Langley AFB, VA
  2. Site supports four CS/RL sites for GCCS systems (through ACC CSS Support): Pentagon (10 servers, 5 arrays, and associated equipment), Hurlburt Field (2 workstations), Warner-Robins AFB (3 workstations and 1 printer), and Pope AFB. (1 workstation and 1 printer)
  3. ACC OSC support is requested throughout the Ryan Center with multiple users

 

     

     

     

    Position Requirements

    Experience:

    • A minimum of four years of experience (or a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a field applicable to this position [e.g. information systems, computer science, math, or engineering] and two years of experience) providing technical expertise and support for VTC systems, including installation, upgrade, and administration of hardware and software; resolution of interoperability issues

    Skills/Personal Qualities:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Ability to interface with all levels of management
    • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work well independently or in a team setting

    Clearance:TS/SCI required

    Education, Degrees, Certifications (only if required):

    • Requires DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, 15 May 2008 certification for IAT Level I.
