Description

Perform organizational tasks in support of the medical facility to include, but not limited to the following tasks:
-  Provide primary VTC Facilitator/Scheduling support with VTC Chief functioning as the Government Client Representative.
-  Operate VTC equipment and Schedule/facilitate conferences.
-  Provide users with a familiarization & refresher training.
-  Set up VTC rooms to accommodate special user needs.
-  Coordinate with project officers in the planning process to determine dates, proposed agenda, and special requests/requirements.
-  Routinely "Test and Monitor" equipment performance immediately reporting all equipment malfunctions or VTC disruptions to VTC Chief.
-  In the event of equipment malfunction initiate trouble call with designated maintenance vendor and provide conscientious follow through to problem resolution.
-  Coordinate all unusual requests with VTC Chief before providing customers with confirmation.
-  Schedule the use of the wing's auditorium for education and training missions. 
-  Provide information about alternative equipment or services from other sources throughout the wing or
from local base resources, in instances where equipment requirements exceed center's/wing's availability.
-  Maintain expertise in the use of VTC equipment/procedures including:
-  Maintain the operation of point-to-point and multi-point video teleconferencing equipment.
-  Maintain the operation of digital and analog record/play back/dubbing equipment.
-  Maintain the operation of computer-generated graphics equipment and programs.
-  Maintain the operation of 35mm slides projectors.
-  Maintain the operation of hard copy digital document camera equipment.
-  Maintain a working knowledge of wing's specific and industry standard conference guidelines and teleconferencing protocols.   Maintain a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Outlook and Explorer.
- Adhere to AFI 33-117 Communication and Information, all Major Command (MAJCOM) directives and local policies/guidance.
- Analyzes and coordinates completion of and approves customer requirements.

- Directs/informs/assists customers in determining their final product to produce the most effective results.

- Provides feedback to customers inquires, concerns, and problems, while keeping the VTC Chief informed of these interactions and provides customers with follow-up information within two (2) duty days.

- Educate customers about the products/services provided by the WHASC VTC Center.

 
Position Requirements
  • Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years understanding of video teleconferencing equipment and capabilities, networks, policies and network protocols required to plan, schedule, and conduct video teleconferencing services.
