Description

This position is responsible for answering questions pertinent to existing claim and determine appropriate course of action. Initial loss taking and claim set-up including, but not limited to: recognizing and opening appropriate exposures based on facts of loss, documenting specific details of loss, selling company program, validating the claim assignment, using judgment and initiative to determine additional services or identify solutions specific to the callers' needs. Also responsible for handling new loss reports ranging from severe human trauma to minor accidents/incidents. Responsible for identifying customer needs and working to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.

 
Position Requirements

Prior call center or direct customer experience and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong oral, written, organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. keyboarding and effective time management is also required. Professional phone etiquette; familiarity with and adherence to company policies and procedures and the role's relationship to other functions.
