  • Perform general maintenance on fire and shower apparatus and appliances.
  • Perform pre/post trip equipment inspections and if needed complete service requests that detail problems or required repairs.
  • Provide fire pump and field level training to fire/shower operators when required.
  • Conduct fire/shower protection quality assurance field service and vehicle inspections in accordance to standard operational procedures.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operational Procedures.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of current inventory levels.
  • Support sales staff with regard to the various types of equipment included in the Fire & Shower Division including features, design, uses, and specifications.
  • Ensure that all job related paperwork is correctly completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Participate in meetings involving large groups of personnel that are operational, hazard identification and organizational in nature.
  • Assist with the pre-planning of work procedures in accordance to associated hazards.
  • Assist with establishing emergency procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Technical Manager, Fire & Shower Division.


Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Lead Industrial Fire/Shower Operator
  • A fundamental understanding of drilling, service and completion processes
  • Must be capable of operating fire pumps and all associated appliances.
  • Firefighter training must meet NFPA 1001 and/or 1081 standards.
  • Experience in the use of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with hot tap, freeze service and blowout recovery operations
  • Strong organization and communication skills with a high degree of self motivation
  • Competent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
  • All applicants must have previous driving experience with a valid Class 3Q (or equivalent) driver’s license
