  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with employment groups, high schools, colleges, and universities to proactively network and create a talent pipeline from which to draw upon to meet critical recruitment needs
  • Travel to each assigned station on a regular basis for ongoing networking activities and to maintain a current understanding of business and workforce challenges in each region
  • Process incoming applications to posted positions in the applicant tracking system
  • Conduct phone screens with all candidates to verify critical position qualifications and fit for the role and send candidate shortlist to hiring manager for review and follow up
  • Communicate with position hiring managers on a regular basis to obtain shortlisted candidate feedback and/or final candidate selection information
  • Conduct, as required, selection interviews for both internal and external candidates. Evaluate applicants based on behavioral skills, competency and interviewing skills as well as employment / company suitability for current or future job opportunities
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics
  • Attend events such as career fairs and tradeshows to network and deliver information about working for HSE and available positions
  • Assist with special projects that support the enhancement of recruitment service delivery


Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sourcing and recruitment experience in the oil field/industrial industry (including the use of social media)
  • Proven ability with respect to the development and delivery of behavioral and competency based interviews
  • Experience utilizing assessment tools within the recruitment process is an asset
  • Ability to manage competing demands while being adaptable and flexible
  • Above average computer literacy including the ability to work with on-line databases and resume management software
  • Working toward or completion of the CHRP designation is an asset
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time
