Wraparound Worker - Foster Care

The Wraparound Worker will coordinate services and supports within a dedicated team structure with moderate supervision for up to 10 Family and Community Ties families. The primary duties and responsibilities of the Wraparound Worker is to be able to provide family-centered facilitation around foster care and emotional behavioral issues; have the willingness to provide direct support to parents and children, provide group leadership, provide thorough documentation of Wraparound process with each assigned family, and must be able to conduct community education, community resource development and represent FCA and the Family and Community Ties Program throughout the region.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required.

  • One year wraparound social work experience with experience in adoptions or foster care preferred.

  • Bilingual skills are preferred.

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Ability to work non-traditional and Ă‚Â flexible hours.

  • Possess exceptional organization skills, effective communication skills, and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Demonstrate appreciation of cultural diversity, heritage and knowledge of cultural issues and patterns.

  • Must be able to work with diverse populations and be willing to provide home based services.

  • Demonstrate maturity, professionalism and self-awareness, a non-judgmental attitude, the ability to deal with resistance and rejection, cultural competency and the ability to work independently and under challenging conditions.
