Job Summary: 

The Contracts Administration Manager will oversee Contract Administration and provide guidance on complex contract issues.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • The Contracts Administration Manager is a recognized leader and authority in the company in Contract Administration.
  • Contract Administration duties including support of negotiations, execution of modifications, correspondence and customer interface.
  • Coordinate all required approvals and notifications pursuant to Contract Administration Procedures, Company Standard Practices, FAR, and DFAR.
  • Participate and advise in the preparation of quotations, bids and proposals.
  • Draft sales orders, request for estimates and all other required contract administration documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and all other relevant regulatory issues.
  • Follow-up and tracking of customer correspondence and issues.
  • Interface with internal and external customers to ensure prompt resolution of problems.
  • Prepare and comply with all contract reporting requirements.
  • Work with Customers’ Contracting Officers / Specialists to resolve contractual matters.
  • Perform follow-up on various contract issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

  • Accredited bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 plus years of progressively responsible management experience in Contract Administration.
  • Working knowledge of military industry and standards for product delivery.
  • Knowledgeable in FAR and DFAR.
  • Possession of excellent technical writing, briefing, and facilitation skills.
  • Requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
  • Strong leadership, Project Management and Business Management skills are essential. 
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate contractual information effectively with team members and others in the work group, employees in other departments, customers, and suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person and eligible to obtain security clearance.
