International Financial Analyst Senior

Position Financial Analyst Sr  
Location OH, Cleveland  

This position will have primary responsibility for coordinating financial reporting with foreign entities in connection with quarterly public filings, preparing entries to convert financial statements to US GAAP, assisting in preparation of 10-k and 10-q including XBRL, research of current accounting issues.  This will include:

  • Assisting Director of SEC with SEC filings
    • Working directly with Director of SEC reporting and CFO to prepare SEC filings such as periodic reports, current reports, and securities offering materials
  • Coordinating the review of certain foreign entity reporting packages on a quarterly basis
  • Converting reporting packages properly into U.S. currency
  • Preparing necessary US GAAP entries
  • Coordinating with UK personnel the streamlining of reporting information
  • Creating reports in Oracle for financial analysis or reporting purposes
  • Responding to general inquiries regarding, accounting questions, information requests from other departments, auditors or finance department
  • Write position papers for management and auditor review
  • Research issues for statutory accounting purposes
  • Assisting in creating management reports for financial analysis:
  • Assisting in research of recent accounting pronouncements or accounting treatment for Company transactions
Position Requirements


  • 2-4 years of experience as an auditor or with corporate reporting
  • Previous big four accounting experience preferred
  • Experience working in or with a publicly-traded company preferred
  • Experience working in insurance industry preferred
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure
  • Self-motivated team player with the proven ability to work independently and prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility with overtime
