Description

Warrantech Corporation, a division of AmTrust Financial Services Inc., is currently seeking an Inside Account Manager for their Automotive division in Bedford, TX. This position will work directly with our Regional Trainers, Sr Account Managers, and Business Development Managers to maintain and grow accounts in our Automotive Warranty department.

Essential job functions:

  • Main point of contact for accounts managed and support contact for accounts supported
  • Support Product Launch
  • Spearheading or supporting strategic initiatives with the account
  • Tracking and Managing all open initiatives for the account
  • Responsible for increase in overall service plan sales within the account
  • Adding new products and enhancing current products
  • Ongoing market research to insure your account is competitive
  • Be fully knowledgeable of your account’s industry and competition
  • Conduct online training/Webinars
  • Responding to e-mails and messages from accounts/dealers
  • Insuring Point of Purchase materials are in the stores
  • Working with internal departments to make sure program/process changes are timely and implemented properly
  • Intervening on behalf of the account for service or other operational issues when needed
  • Attend all conference calls, monthly meetings as well as national and district meetings as needed
  • Analyze business metrices (attachment and conversion rates)
  • Act as Liaison between Account and Warrantech operational areas
 
Position Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required in business operations and/or Account Management
  • 2-5 years experience in the automotive industry (sales, F&I, aftermarket products) preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a variety of Company personnel and outside vendors
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Data Entry skills
  • Computer literate in Excel, Access, Word and Power Point
  • Ability to travel 10% of schedule
