Sr. Graphic Designer  - Expert in Print, Web, Photography and Video,

POSITION SUMMARY                        

Serve as Monster’s expert in visually concepting and leading the design execution of all points of our Monster Headphones brand. You will report to the Creative Services Manager/Marketing Leadership Team. You will collaborate with cross functional teams as well as customers/partners to strategize, research, concept, present, and lead the completion of all deliverables for our Monster Headphones brand. This will involve visually attracting consumers to all points of our brand internationally including Above the Line and Below the Line Advertising, packaging, and merchandising.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES        The incumbent will:

  • Support multiple Monster product categories and retail partners world wide (i.e. Best Buy, Airport Wireless, Dixons UK, etc.) with the best in class brand identity across all channel touch points.
  • Lead the design style and execution for Photography, Video, Print, Web, and Advertising of Monster products. 
  • Partner with Product Development, Print Production Leads, and our Global Sourcing Manager to qualify and help maintain vendor partnerships for concept development, quality, and cost savings with internal and external customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, busy and creative Marketing Department and ensure branding and positioning strategies are being met.
  • Serve as the Key Resource to Product Area Managers, to support the field by responding quickly to questions and needs on any support needed in the design and brand guidelines.
  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teammates to lead design research, and graphic design reviews.
  • Partners with Creative Services Manager, and Project Managers to meet deadlines, and/or modify schedules proactively to remain aligned and on time. 
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of our products and markets

Consumer Electronics and Aspirational Marketing requires a fine tuned ability to stay on top of design trends across all touch points. This role will be expected to:


  • Research of graphic design trends and execution methodology
  • Expertise in CS5, understanding of photography capabilities, web, and POP displays.
  • Effective communication, team work work ethic, and Leadership skills/talent
  • Demonstrate creativity by visually influencing consumer buying behaviors through brand identity across all touch points
  • Collaboration with teammates for design reviews
  • Seemless creation and execution of Style Guides across all seasonal updates. On Time.
  • Build internal partnerships and credibility by working directly with Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Training and Trade Show teams to customize visual solutions while developing and maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Raising the bar on packaging and other print execution through printing expertise through to desired execution with world wide teams.

Position Requirements


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE                    The successful candidate will have the following experience or knowledge in the following areas:

  • CS5 Design programs on a MacIntosh Computer.
  • Sketching. Concepting. Renderings.
  • High degree of experience as a senior designer leading strategy and execution of winning concepts.
  • Experience working as a designer for Consumer Electronics Aspirational Brands.
  • Direct experience creating art/design for packagin is needed
  • Creation and Adherence to Brand Guidelines
  • Experience in driving visual solutions through from conception to execution and evaluation for improvement
  • Expertise of materials/processes and design found at the highest levels of the industry.
  • Expertise in concept sketches and direction of final renderings and execution
  • Experience in working in agencies on Creative Briefs
  • Experience in creating/updating processes for consistent high quality output
  • Indirect Management experience
  • PowerPoint Presentation experience

Bachelors degree required, preferably including Industrial Design. Advanced degree preferred.
