Sanitation Worker

Our artisan bakery is seeking enthusiastic, dependable candidates for Sanitation positions at our Minneapolis production facility!

As an employee of our plant, you will work closely with your fellow team members to create a safe, high quality product. We focus on employee safety, teamwork, efficiency and throughput. We are in operation around the clock and are looking for people with flexible schedules and weekend availability.

Sanitiation workers are responsible for cleaning our facility and the tools we use for making our product. On a given day, you may be cleaning any number of the following items:

  • Mixers and mixing bowls
  • Ovens
  • Bread production equipment
  • Bread packaging equipment
  • Floors, walls, ledges, windows, etc
  • Sinks and drinking fountains
  • Smallwares and ingredient containers
  • Proofing board and couch frames
  • Coolers, freezers and proofing boxes

Additionally, the following job duties are a part of this position:

  • Emptying garbage, cardboard and other inedible containers
  • Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements

We are looking for sanitation workers with at least one year prior experience, preferably performing sanitation duties in a food production environment. Other requirements are as follows:

  • Must be legally eligible for work in the United States
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be open for a 1st, 2nd and/or a 3rd shift
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to speak and read English
  • Must follow GMP guidelines as they pertain to your position
  • Must be dependable and able to commit to regular attendance
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position:
    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds over your head on a semi-regular basis
    • Must be able to perform repetitive motions (twisting, pushing, pulling, etc)
    • Must be able to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
