CDL Driver

Essential Functions:

  • Comply with all EQ Management System policies and procedures
  • Perform duties in a safe and compliant manner
  • Operate roll-offs, tankers, tractor trailers and box trucks
  • Perform LTL Pickups
  • Maintain company equipment
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain vehicle log
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of manifests and work orders
  • DOT Pre-trip and Post trip inspections
  • Emergency and spill response
  • Drive for a minimum of 8 hours per day with heavy loads being disposed of at designated TSDF facilities
  • Warehouse processing of non-hazardous materials as needed
  • Proficiency at operating backhoe and forklift
  • Ability to use EQAI to verify current approvals on incoming shipments
  • Assist in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds
  • Function as technician on lab pack and field service projects
  • Complete all other assignments made by management
Position Requirements


  • CDL  A or B with hazardous and tanker endorsements
  • Clean driving record
  • 1-2 years previous experience (preferably with vacuum trucks and tankers)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age older
  • Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physically able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of job, such as lifting and climbing
  • Ability to work all shifts, including night shift, on call 24/7
  • Ability to perform truck runs over the road for 1-10 days
