Transportation Coordinator

Responsbilities include:

  • Comply with all EQ Management System policies and procedures
  • Work closely with Account Executives and external customers to provide a cradle to grave approach to small quantity generators                             
  • Establish routes, characterize waste, and generate proper paperwork including manifests, labels and LDRs, etc.
  • Establish and maintain daily, weekly and monthly tracking documents                 
  • Produce financial reports specifically designed to measure P&L of the operation
  • Interaction with internal operations, external disposal facilities and transporters
  • Proper Invoicing
  • Ensure DOT compliance
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, profitability and efficiency
  • General sales/ cold calling
  • Establish SOPs
  • Streamline operational costs
  • Complete all other assignments made by management




Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, degree in technical field preferred
  • 2-3 years experience in the environmental industry
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Excellent computer skills preferred
