Regional Human Resources Manager

The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns/manages numerous World-Class Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, Specialty Care Centers and Assisted Living Communities throughout Ohio, Missouri Pennsylvnania, and Maryland. Since 1984, CommuniCare has provided superior, comprehensive management services for the development and management of adult living communities. We are looking to fill a key position, Regional Human Resources Manager, to provide general human resources support for multiple facilities in the Columbus and Cincinnati region. This position can be based out of Columbus or Cincinnati.

The successful candidate for the Regional Human Resources Manager position will have a four year degree, with current PHR/SPHR certification a plus. Three or more years experience in Human Resources in a Long Term Care environment with multi-facility HR responsibilities is required. We are looking for previous experience in the areas of recruitment and retention and a proven track record of reducing turnover in a Long Term Care environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities on a daily basis.

The responsibilities of the Regional Human Resources Manager will include:

  • Recruitment, hiring experience with management positions
  • Develop and implement facility specific recruitment and retention plans.
  • Weekly visits to facilities for intervention, audit and training.
  • Employee relations and human resources management consultation
  • Work with regional support team to provide monitoring of building results
  • Develop employee relation's activities that result in turnover reduction
  • Experience with union facilities

The position of Regional Human Resources Manager is a full time, salaried position, with salary negotiable based on experience. Position Requirements
  • Must have a four year degree.
  • Current PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • At least three years experience in a long-term care setting with multi-facility HR responsibilities
  • Previous experience in areas of recruitment and retention and proven track record of reducing turnover in Long Term Care
  • Exellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities on a daily basis
  • 70% or more travel required
