Share Email Opening Title Chief Technology Officer (CTO)  Description POSITION SUMMARY:  As a member of the global leadership team, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for keeping the organization future-focused and clear about leveraging, institutionalizing, and continuously improving its core capabilities, thus ensuring the company maintains long-term innovation and operations at a very high level.  The role of the CTO is to sustain organizational focus on innovation in order to support profitable growth and avoid over-reliance on existing technology to the point that competitiveness could begin to erode.   The CTO assumes responsibility for leading the development of new profitable growth platforms that leverage opportunities emerging from the intersection of demographic and environmental trends, company capabilities, and unmet customer needs.  The CTO drives rapid applied learning throughout the organization through the application of facts and data (science, analytics, process innovation) to connect operations, R&D, and finance to MCC’s markets.     Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   Strong business leader.  General Manager experience and capabilities with strong technical foundation.   B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related science relevant to MCC business.   At least 10 years business leadership and change management experience related to industrial product and technology development.   Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute significantly to profitable business growth and enterprise value creation.   Combines strong technical knowledge and experience with proven business development skills.   Proven ability to build a technology strategy in support of the overall corporate strategy, including a sustainable pipeline of new product and technology platforms that foster future business growth.   Possesses a deep understanding of the technical requirements for sustaining profitable growth of a technology-driven company.   Prefers to work collaboratively to create the best possible solutions for the organization.   Relocation A relocation package is available for this position.   Travel This position requires frequent travel, often overnight, and International travel.   Salary Range Salary based on experience.   About the Organization Master Fluid Solutions is a well-established, international chemical company in the metalworking industry, offering fully competitive benefits and a matching 401(k).
