Description

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for managing pre- and post-sales customer engagements of our technology solutions and assist in prioritizing 'market-driven' solution enhancements in concert with those of company's existing business model and clientele.

This specific position will be responsible for one particular client of ours in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Essential Duties:

·         Meet with the customer regularly to gain an understanding of their needs on a proactive level

·         Oversight of the IT projects with customer, gained through our contracts.  Drive these projects through to completion.

          Manage a team of technicians, help desk analysts, Project Managers and other IT staff we have on-site @ client and in house

·         Identify and act upon opportunities for efficiencies, service improvements, and cost reductions. Responsible for purchasing equipment needed; work with account representatives to get quotes, budget for approval, etc

·         Schedule and assign workload to personnel to cover committed hours of service and comply with the contracted service levels.

·         Counsel personnel and resolve performance matters.

·         Provide reporting and status of outstanding problems to the customer executives.

·         Conduct interviews, perform hiring to staff for the projects as needed; resource planning

 
Position Requirements

 

Required Qualifications:  skills & character traits:

 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory/management role overseeing 10+ others and being responsible for all hiring, firing, training, working with performance issues, etc;

 

GREAT client-relationship skills;

 

Understanding of IT projects;

 

Take initiative attitude and personality;

 

Up to date on latest and greatest technology out there

 

Organized and has an attention to detail;

 

Ability to manage both projects and people effectively

 

Occasional afterhours/weekend work needed

 

Additional Information:

 

Travel to remote customer locations as necessary; flexibility to travel within Columbus zip code
