Job Summary:

Project Manager needed for large industry projects, mostly related to multiple site hardware deployments.

Essential Duties:

·         Defines and manages the scope of work for each individual project

·         Develops and manages the critical path of projects and project master schedule

·         Interviews and places resources based on skill sets to complete defined tasks

·         Manages within the budget of the project including controlling scope creep, additions, progress delays, etc.

·         Reports and manages staff productivity

·         Participates in forecasting and planning sessions

·         Responsible for deliverables associated with managing projects at PCM such as: a project plan, communication plan, project charter, and a scope statement

·         Manages the project team for each individual project

·         Counsels and coaches employees on improving performance and career advancement

·         Handles all escalated client issues and works with the client and team members to achieve resolution

·         Assist sales with selling of projects

·         Give customer presentations on project status

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in Information Technology Field, with some experience specifically with hardware projects.  

Must be detail-focused, able to lead meetings, produce reports, give presentations and communicate with vendors, customers (internal and external), executives, etc. 

Understanding scheduling of shipments/deliveries and resolving and delivery issues.

Local travel to customer sites within the metro Louisville area.
