Bid Response Associate

Candidate should have previous experience working in a business environment – preferably experience with external customers either in person or by phone. Some experience or aptitude with numbers to understand cost of goods and how to establish sell price to customers.

Requires great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in order to establish an orderly process flow.

Position will ultimately require the ability to work independently. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Review government requests for quotes
  • Identify  potential suppliers to meet the requirements
  • Work with the supplier to get accurate quote for supplies and/or services.
  • Prepare a PC Mall Gov quote utilizing the supplier quote as basis for cost
  • Provide quote back to customer
  • Communicate post-submission with customer to establish relationship
  • Book orders that result from quotes
  • Follow up on shipment / invoicing to close order

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

High School diploma required
