SCCM System Engineer

  • Windows 7 deployment
  • Desktop Installation
  • Responsible for PC hardware setup and configuration
  • Imaging new PC’s and laptops
  • Setup and Configuring desktop peripherals
  • Deploy and install applications
  • Documenting work for quality and tracking
  • Be able to travel to multiple sites
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs.



Position Requirements


1. Proficient in Desktop Engineering for Windows workstations.

2. Technical Background:

  1. Practical experience in a like size company and industry as typically acquired in 6 to 8 years
  2. Experience with Microsoft Windows XP Professional in a large Active Directory environment
  3. Skills and experience associated with installation, configuration and operation of Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Citrix suite of products and authentication methodologies and solutions, computer peripherals and mobile devices, and wireless communications
  4. Performs in-depth technical evaluations, including requirements analysis and documentation, RFP development, evaluation criteria development, writing test plans, performing product testing according to plan, and providing post-evaluation reporting on products and solutions
  5. Networking: WAN, WLAN, LAN, VPN terminology
  6. Knowledge of EPIC
  7. Knowledge of SCCM
  8. SQL Database Administration
  9. Software Packaging
  10. Strong knowledge of VB Script
  11. Imaging new PC’s and Desktop Installation
  12. Setup and Configuring desktop peripherals (HP Printer, Zebra Label Printers, and Symbol Barcode Readers)
