The Asst. Business Office Manger will assist and oversee all day to day operations of the office including payroll/billing/HR functions.
The successful candidate will be able to properly prioritize all tasks and complete them in a timely fashion.
Prepare financials as requested and analyze data to inform management as to any pertinent situation.
Maintain the utmost professionalism even in the face of conflict.
•Transports patients as directed.
•Answers phones and handle customers in a professional and courteous manner.
•Assists therapists with treatment
•Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.
•Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
•Facilitates the orderly and efficient provision of patient care.
•Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.
•Establishes and maintains courteous, professional and helpful interactions with staff, patients, and families which reflect a patient centered and problem-solving approach to aid in providing high quality patient care
.•Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies including completion of cleaning logs.
•Ensures that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained
•Completing forms and records, making copies, filing forms, obtaining necessary signatures and maintaining orderly and accurate patient records including completion of documentation checklists.
•Assists Rehab Director in month end billing reconciliation procedures and completion of the monthly billing audit tools.
-Assists with patient and or staff schedule on a daily basis.
•Runs and analyzes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assist in department operations, compliance, and patient management procedures and communicates information to appropriate individuals.
•Assists in compiling and organizing patient medical records for ADR or denials management purposes.
•Assists in orientation procedures for new hires with direct oversight by Rehab Director.
•Assists Rehab Director to provide oversight for departmental compliance related to TB tracking
.•Attends departmental or facility meetings in absence of Rehab Director as directed.
•Assists in minute mapping and treatment planning as directed or overseen by Rehab Director.
•Other duties as assigned.
