Summary: 

Market Assistant Sales Manager will have responsibility for creating value for Reliant Energy with Realtor partners through the development and execution of campaigns, programs and partner offers.  This individual will manage a team of Mover Concierge in a specified market and be responsible for addressing client needs, establishing best practices and procedures for all processes within the Mover Concierge program.  Market ASM is also responsible for coaching and developing team members to achieve performance goals, networking skills, sales skills and closing skills.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ability to motivate and drive sales team within assigned market that can deliver sales on consistent basis through multiple realtor channels
  • Managing and expanding existing Realtor programs, products and services that support Realtors, move concierges and their clients during the move process as well as prospecting/developing new relationships within the market. 
  • Interact with management regarding updates on agent performance.
  • Act as subject matter expert for area of responsibility.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards and practices to better identify customer needs; analyze and report trends of outside factors influencing the business.
  • Assist with the identification of training gaps and needs of team members.
  • Resolve problems with clients when Supervisory representation is required or requested.
  • Provide direction and leadership of integrated mover communications to new and existing Realtors and other affiliate referral partner programs (e.g. builders, property managers) and service providers.
  • Participate in special projects while maintaining daily performance expectations.
 

Position Requirements

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, with concentration in Marketing, Finance or Real Estate.

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 3+ years general business experience in strategy, planning, marketing or general management roles preferred.  1+ years experience in the realtor/mortgage field preferred.  Superior customer relationship skills and a proven track record of success effectively working in a cross-functional and matrixed environment.

  • Practical knowledge of the residential mover market – i.e., buying needs, key influencers, natural partners, business trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
