Liquids Category Manager 


Execute the Liquids Business strategy for the Griffith US business growing sales, increasing market share and profitability. Manage the overall multi-functional logistics for commercial activities that enable GLUS to penetrate the US with premium liquid offerings that provide a differentiated consumer experience.

  • Development & execution of product category growth strategies.
  • Management of the product portfolio.
  • Analyzes market information and insight to understand the dynamics of the category and provides initiatives and tactics to identify and capture the best new business opportunities collaborating with Sales.
  • Analyzes market and customer information to understand the value provided through the Liquid Sauces and Seasonings to be able to develop the right pricing model collaborating with Pricing.
  • Collaborates with Research Liquids Development Chef and members of the GLMEX and Custom Culinary teams to provide continuous expansion opportunities of US liquids portfolio.
  • Works directly with other GL units (Mexico, Custom Culinary, Canada) on establishing and managing the logistical processes and procedures to flawlessly execute the commercial/supply chain activity.
  • Manages and coordinates the prioritization and execution of commercial business opportunities related with the Category and communicates progress and status within the teams.
  • Executes benchmark against competition to define next attributes to include in our products and allow to differentiate our portfolio.
  • Leads overall identification of market/customer targets to provide Sales with targeted focus for penetration and growth.
  • Leads development and execution of marketing materials required for Sales to effectively communicate and market liquid offerings in US.
  • Leads marketing activities for development & execution of customer presentations.
  • Leads coordination and execution of any tradeshow activities targeted for sales of liquids.
  • Responsible for training Sales representatives on market approach to selling liquids.
  • Responsible for learning and leveraging insights from Global Griffith partners focused on liquids.
  • Member of the Global Liquids Team.

Position Requirements


  • College degree - B.A. or B.S. with emphasis on Marketing, Business Adminitration
  • MBA preferred


  • Advanced ability using various creative software to develop presentations and enhance existing communication vehicles.
  • Facility with using the Internet for performing market research.
  • Must have an attention to detail.
  • Keen interest in performing marketing research and a genuine passionate attitude are required to be successful in this position.
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred - English / Spanish
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams.
