DistributorCentral (an e-commerce division of TradeNet Publishing) is the #1 online software in the Promotional Products industry and we are currently seeking an experienced sales and support professional. The selected candidate will serve as a liaison between customers and our internal marketing, sales, and development teams. This person will provide support to our customers and assist with marketing and sales efforts in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

  •  Apply phone and web-based customer service, support, and marketing skills to inbound and outbound calls/emails
  • Listen and respond to customer inquiries regarding technical questions, marketing inquiries, and other requests
  •  Assist in the creation and editing of marketing material (print, email, website, blog, social media)
  • Travel to client sites to discuss software solutions, sales opportunities, and to train staff on new features
  • Travel to industry tradeshows, conduct training, and attend events.
 

Position Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skill Required:

  • Bachelor's degree a plus
  • One or two years relevant experience and/or training or equivalent
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to listen to the customer and articulate technical solutions in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience
  • Solid reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills
  • High level of comfort and effectiveness when talking to a broad range of influencers and decision-makers within an organization.
  • Strong organizational skill
  • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet experience
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM
  • Experience with website or graphics design is a plus
  • Experience with social media and blogs
  • Seasonal overtime require
