Foster Parent Recruiter - Now Hiring 


Our Foster Parent Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment activities for foster parents in our Arlington area.

This will be accomplished through the following:

  • Develop and implement an on-going recruitment campaign to attract people interested in becoming foster parents.
  • Recruitment planning includes the identification, analysis, and the development of strategies to deliver our recruitment message to the target market.
  • Pursue all leads and immediate follow-up to all inquiries from prospective foster parents. Follow-through is then required until license is attained.
  • Key liaison with community through organizations, attending events and regular attendance at community meetings.
  • Relationship building with prospective foster parents, current foster parents, local business, news media, churches, community volunteers and leaders..
  • Coordinate the submission of local advertising and writing of press releases and feature articles for publications.
Position Requirements
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in the field of business, sales, or behavioral sciences.

Experience Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in a business related field.
  • Proven expertise with public speaking
  • Knowledge of non-profit organizational marketing and/or the child welfare industry.

Skill Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Effective problem solving & creative resolution skills
  • Operate a computer in regards to Microsoft Office and agency database system
