General Position Summary: Provide administrative support to a department . Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clericical duties that include, but are not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, typing, filing and scanning.
  • Operates multi-phone line telephone system. Responsible for the direction of all incoming phone calls.
  • Prepares and maintains department calendar to facilitate work flow and meetings, prepares meeting agenda and travel arrangements for departmental staff.
  • Responsible for managing all departmental inventories (office material and janitorial supplies).
  • Reconcile credit card log for departmental staff.
 

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and operate basic office equipment
  • Ability to use a multi-line telephone system.
  • Strong inter-personal and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS-Office applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Non-Center Based: Requires: The Ability to sit at a computer for hours at a time (with some bending and stooping) and travel to Centers (if so, the noise level is moderate and there is potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens).
