Description

SUMMARY
Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy to optimize the electronic brand experience among economic buyers, distribution partners and other stakeholders through measureable electronic media. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with business unit leadership to plan e-marketing activity that drives search traffic to lead conversion supporting key objectives and financial targets. 
  • Develops and executes strategies to maximize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and overall web site optimization.
  • Develops the corporate lead generation strategy that funnels all leads to an open architecture for measurement, processing, and enticement/lead source optimization and partners with sales to ensure proper funnel management of leads conversion.
  • Creates a strategy for customer touch point management including an inventory of current customer and stakeholder touch-points as well as a road map of future touch-points to optimize brand experience. 
  • Develops and executes an e-commerce strategy that leverages customer information to improve average order size, order frequency, lead conversion, and builds brand preference.
  • Partners with sales channels, sales operations, customer and technical service, product marketing, marketing communications, information technology, and consultants to implement and maintain architecture and process required to support optimization of customer and stakeholder experience. 
  • Leverages email marketing and other technologies to create highly relevant dynamic messaging that nurtures prospects toward lead submittal.
  • Monitors and manages web analytics and performance and makes ongoing strategic and tactical recommendations for website improvements, campaign enhancements and all manner of enticements.
  • Manages online competitive intelligence, including analysis and recommendations for emerging trends (eg, social media, social networking, mobile marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM)).
  • Manages and create new keywords for SEO and paid search optimization
  • Defines targets and set goals in a variety of key performance indicators related to developing the customer and stakeholder experience.
  • Set and manage annual budget according to approved roadmap expenditures.
  • Prepares and reports on e-marketing activity as required.
  • Researches and stays abreast of new technologies to be leveraged for future implementation through online research, attendance at conferences, and other professional development sources.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a College or university; and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
