Function as liaison between staff FST’s and ASM. Oversee daily activities of FST’s; shift assignments, PM assignments, on-call, and vacation schedules. Provide customer/technical support for installed systems and projects.  Diagnose, repair and debug complex CTX equipment problems.  Follow procedures to isolate and repair equipment and software problems. Support and train existing Field Tech Staff on all work processes.  Recommend FST's for training. Perform analysis of identifiable factors relating to equipment failure. Train FST's in problem resolution both technical and process related.

Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Other duties include maintaining excellent customer relations, professionally representing MDI Security, assisting with customer training.  Work with customer technicians who may, in some cases, respond for first line maintenance items.  Assume responsibility for continued customer satisfaction, and coordinates all activities with the customer.  Act as the primary MDI POC for interactions with other airport stake holders.  Must be proficient in reporting activities, maintaining local spare parts inventory, recording travel expenses and time card, submitting Request for Engineering Action (REA), implement Field Service Bulletins (FSB), maintain customer log books, and use sound judgment when dealing with customers.  Must be self-starter, work well without supervision, and accept responsibility.


Position Requirements


•Must have an AA degree in electronics or formal electronic vocational training.

•Must have at least 3 years experience as a field service technician in medical X-ray, CT, MRI or related equipment.

•Two years computer experience.

•You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process.

•You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.

•You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

•Requires both domestic and international travel.

•The candidate must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs.

•The candidate must be able to push / pull 200 lbs.

•The candidate must be able to work and freely navigate in the baggage area of the airport where vertical ladders, crossovers, and low overhead ceiling frequently occur.

•Must be able to work in extreme environments and lift heavy objects.



•Bachelor’s in electronics is a plus.

• 2 Years leadership experience

•UNIX experience.

•Good customer skills and the ability to work under pressure

•Must be self-starter, work well without supervision, and accept responsibility.
