Being an Intern at Fanscape/The Marketing Arm:

The Research and Analytics Intern will assist with developing client proposals, monitoring marketing campaigns, analyzing social media content, competitive analysis and basic market research. Applicants should be knowledgeable about social media marketing, related technology and industry trends. Previous course work or experience in marketing and/or statistics preferred. Intermediate level of skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Photoshop desirable.

Fanscape/The Marketing Arm is dedicated to providing a professional and enriching internship program. We pride ourselves on one-to-one interaction, individual intern projects and a fun and stimulating work environment.  We will do our best to create hours that accommodate your class schedule, but a commitment of 3 to 5 days each week, totaling 25 to 39.5 hours per week is required. The Fall internship is unpaid, and you must be currently enrolled in an academic program and receiving course credit to participate.


Position Requirements
  • Must be enrolled as at least a junior year status in college (will confirm by graduation date) with a major in business administration, marketing, math, economics, communications, social media or a related field (MBA candidates encouraged)
  • Must be eligible for and receive college credit for participation
  • Skilled in online searching
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills
  • Creative thinker who likes to come up with new and different ideas
  • Diligent work ethic and insatiable desire to learn
  • Experience on popular websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, MySpace and Digg
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must do well under pressure and be very dependable as well as accountable.
  • Must follow instructions well. Able to multi-task. Keeping deadlines a must.
  • A strong interest in analytics and marketing
  • Available a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 39.5)
