Account Executive- Multicultural

Cultur8 is a multicultural next-gen promotional marketing agency that specializes in experiential, social, digital, mobile, sports, shopper, entertainment and cause marketing. As a joint venture between Dieste and The Marketing Arm it is preparing its official agency launch in 2013. We have an immediate need for an Account Executive to join our telecommunications provider account service team!!!


As Account Executive, you will work as part of the multicultural team for a key telecommunications client to manage strategic programs out of our Los Angeles office.


  • Develop 360° integrated engagement plans including events, wireless/digital and promotions
  • Create compelling activation plans including concepts, measurement and strategic objectives
  • Present concepts, activation plans and project recaps to client
  • Leads team to deliver all elements from an approved activation plan
  • Responsible for creating, tracking and closing program and overall budgets
  • Manages budget for increased revenue and controls expenses effectively
  • Oversee process of promotional prizes/giveaways
  • Coordinate all event elements
  • Develop strong personal relationship with client contacts and key constituents in markets
  • Successfully manage/execute promotions associated with assigned properties
  • Contribute in creative meetings
  • Work with partner agencies to execute projects as appropriate
  • Manage applicable reports and communication both internally and with client, including weekly project status and project measurements
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and executing consumer-facing marketing events
  • Minimum 3 years of multicultural marketing experience
  • Asian marketing experience a MUST
  • Bilingual (Must speak at least one Chinese language)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced experience using PowerPoint – able to create compelling presentations that are client-ready
  • Strong organizational skills a must
  • Experience working on Fortune 100 brands
  • Knowledge of entertainment and event marketing
  • Able to travel 35%
  • Ability to travel on short notice
