Ohio Christian University is seeking a Director of Marketing to facilitate, plan, and coordinate creative marketing projects and written communication pieces for the University. The person in this role will be responsible for managing the work-flow systems, processes, and tools that enable the delivery of projects on time, on budget, and on brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working directly with project requesters to ensure projects get delivered on time and on brand
- Direct and motivate team members to help them use their talents effectively
- Develop quality & engaging text, copy, and stories
- Track and report on effectiveness of processes, ensuring customer service
- Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback
- Work with all vendors to insure accurate delivery of final files to printers and digital development
- Protect the brand standards including all visual and written communication
- Manage equipment inventory
- Clearly define scope of tasks and allocate resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for projects
- Help facilitate collaboration and brainstorming sessions to develop, improve, and implement strategic brand initiatives
- Develop strong relationships with departments, the creative team, and outside vendors
- Set up, tear down and operations of all audio/visual equipment needed for specific events
QUALIFICATIONS

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field is required.
- Five years creative experience preferred
- Expert knowledge of brand management
- Demonstrable knowledge of determining a brand identity
- Attention to detail with a propensity to build a team morale
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and welcoming; customer focused
- Intermediate skill in Adobe Creative Suite
- Quick learner
