Position Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads by example through sampling, selling, and engaging customers on a daily basis
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains all holiday store Sales Associates in partnership with supervisor
  • Trains Sales Associates to engage and greet customers, find out the customers’ needs, recommend, select and help locate the right merchandise as well as describe a product's features and benefits so as to maximize sales
  • Meets and exceeds sales goals by fostering a competitive environment
  • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development
  • Provides constant feedback and positive recognition on Sales Associates performance and behaviors
  • Manages the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish

  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force
  • Highly enthusiastic, passionate and competitive
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Conflict management and stress tolerance

Salary $13.00 per hour
