Industrial painters apply paint and other coatings to a variety of materials and surfaces… and work as part of a team. We are looking for Industrial Painters with real industrial coating experience, Liquid Spray or Powder Coat.   Location: Griffin, GA Salary: $14 - $18 / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift) Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift Benefits: Performance Bonus, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K Industrial Painter Responsibilities & Qualifications: Primary Responsibility - Painting and coating surfaces. Other Responsibilities - Prepare Paints - Before starting a job, industrial painters prepare the paint they will use. They use measurement equipment such a viscosity cups, thickness gages and gloss gages to check the makeup of the paint and use their understanding of chemistry to mix the appropriate compounds for the job. Apply Paint - Painters use a variety fo techniques and tools to paint surfaces. They will use spray equipment, rollers or brushes. Industrial painters must choose the best tools for the job at hand. They paint on primers, pre-finishes and finishing coats. Some industrial painters must use special equipment such as self-contained suits or protective wear. Clean Work Areas - Industial painters clean up the area after they have finished a job.
