Primary Responsibilities

The F&B Project Coordinator – Restaurant Opening will keep the opening of the new restaurant organized and running smoothly. This person will help coordinate and support multiple departments involved in this project, including but not limited to Operations, Culinary, People & Culture, Marketing, F&B Management, Finance, Design, and The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a dynamic working environment, demonstrates a flexible, accommodating, and adaptable work style, and responds quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines. Attention to detail, technical excellence, a collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude, along with accuracy and timeliness, are of the utmost importance to this role.

 

ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • Organize and executive all needed tasks of restaurant opening, including collaborating and supporting the multiple areas involved.
  • Ownership of both long-term and day-to-day tasks to keep the project running smoothly by managing upkeep, monitoring progress, and helping with specific requests of relevant entities
  • Assist the Chef, Managers, and Marketing, on menu items, ordering, printing, and signage.
  • Organize seating chart, sections, supplies, equipment, inventory, scheduling, safety, lighting, staffing, POS system, permits, licenses, inspections, approvals, training, certifications and food systems.
  • Create and maintain rapport with all entities involved; develop and nurture vendor relationships
  • Maintain strict confidentially of all information, conduct, and files, and maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Prepare and type correspondence, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders
  • Produce and consolidate weekly reports for each relevant department
  • Responsible for departmental purchasing, management/inventory of supplies, and equipment maintenance
  • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for The ‘Quin House
  • Strong ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the club, employees and members

  • Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Assume additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or any Leader of The ‘Quin House

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

 
Position Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5-7+ years of Restaurant Experience, restaurant opening experience will be key to this role
  • Food and beverage or culinary experience in a luxury environment preferred
  • Relentless about execution, can-do champion, great attitude, organization, and stellar at providing a vision and roadmap, not afraid to dig into the details
  • A strong team player who supports the teams and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to learn new operating systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and courtesy, professional communication, and customer relationship/service
  • Detail-oriented and follow up skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
  • Strong skills in WORD, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
