This is a general call for writers with experience producing DCMP-FEMA funded case management projects. CORE wishes to identify individuals with strong experience doing DCMP proposal design, writing and submission This position will work closely with the Proposal Director, technical leads and field teams to develop winning strategies and then work collectively to translate those into a winning proposal response. Depending on the context and solicitation, the individual may be engaged from the pre- positioning, capture phases or directly when a solicitation is released for the live-bid phase. This position reports to the Vice President of Partnerships & Development and the Proposal
Pay Rate : $500-$600 a day
Responsibilities
'• Lead proposal writing for A FEMA DCMP-funded opportunity
• Create winning approaches that are responsive to RFP/RFA/RFQ's and collaborate closely with technical staff to ensure strategies are clear
• Develop early strategies when engaged during capture and pre-positioning efforts.
• Leading project design processes
• Create proposal outlines and ensure inputs from other contributors meet expectations and are responsive to the solicitation
• Provide guidance and training to business development coordinators and proposal managers as it relates to proposal writing
• Support in annex development
• Lead editing and formatting of proposal packages
• Review submission packages against solicitations to ensure compliance
Requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of the FEMA Disaster Case Management Program to include scope of services and the program service delivery model
• Familiar with the Disaster Case Management Points of Consensus from the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD)
• Proficient knowledge of the disaster long-term recovery process
