Share Email Opening Title Facilities Maintenance Technician  Description   Valvoline Instant Oil Change- INTERVIEWING AND HIRING ON SITE: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Open Interviews-Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 10am-4pm 4950 I 55 NORTH JACKSON MISSISSIPPI 39211 We are seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations by maintaining Service Center equipment. Must be self- motivated to learn new machines and take initiative on performing maintenance tasks to maximize production time. Job responsibilities include: Demonstrate consistency in working well with people, store personnel and senior management Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities Light electrical skills preferred (changing lights, replacing outlets, switches, etc.) Light plumbing skills Loading and unloading building materials Operate large powered machinery and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, blowtorches, pressure cleaners, jackhammers and power tools) Operate construction-related equipment (e.g., driving trucks or forklifts/manlifts) Must demonstrate consistency in quality of work in tank installations, lifts, generators, pumps, garage door repairs and lube services equipment Must be able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area Perform all other duties as assigned or needed   Successful candidates for the role of Facilities Maintenance Technician are highly motivated, skilled maintenance technicians who are able to solve problems on site.
