Opportunity

Our Fortune 500 Client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Wilmington, CA. This position requires working long hours, 6 to 7 days a week for extended number of days/weeks, during turnaround. There will be opportunities for OT and DT during outage execution windows. The selected individual must be local to the area.

Work Schedule: start 40 to 50 hour weeks, progress to 7 x 12 schedule for the outage timeframe
Assignment Duration: 3 to 6 months initially, performance may offer longer term opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Supply owner services to move in/out contractors as a seconded employee, taking direction from owner employees
  • Receive large volumes of safety observation cards daily and enter into the owner safety system and provide management with timely daily reports from system
  • Run errands, pick up materials at Will Call, etc.
  • Organize job packages (drawings, data sheets), perform mass copy, distribute/file in multiple locations
  • Generate and maintain min/max log of office, safety supplies etc. and reorder at trigger levels

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a seconded employee, as well as extensive Petro-Chemical turnaround/shutdown experience
  • Experience with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point) and any SAP experience is a plus
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and maintain a to-do priority list updated daily
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Must be able to type and report to efficiently/effectively perform task for multiple supervisors

Benefits

  • Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour ($40K to $50K annually), commensurate with experience
