$16.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Front Desk Representative is responsible for welcoming boaters as they walk into the office, providing a friendly and engaging first impression for all guests. They also handle all front desk operations and provide administrative support, such as answering phones and emails, filing, and scanning important documents.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing emails, responding promptly and effectively.
  • Provide information to customers and guests about our marina, rates, and amenities.
  • Respond and follow-up to new customer inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Maintain constant communication with dock crew to ensure boat movement and provisions are being completed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk reception or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of marine industry and terminology is preferred, but not required.
  • Eligible candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test as part of our Drug Free Workplace Program (DFWP) and background check screening.
