We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. The position location will have a flexible work location for an undetermined amount of time. Other possible locations may include Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will:

  • Research Unliquidated Obligation (ULOs) in Navy ERP.
  • Supporting Dormant Account Review - Quarter (DAR-Q).
  • Assist customer in retrieval of Key Supporting Documents (KSDs).
  • Coordinate with various Navy and other DoD organizations to obtain KSDs and coordinate adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare corrective packages including necessary KSDs
  • Prepare correction package for Navy accounting, MOCAS and DCAS records as necessary.
  • Research contractual issues and provide recommendations for de-obligation of excess funding.

This candidate will also:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have an ability to work with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
  • Have experience with using Navy ERP.
  • Be able to multi-task.
  • High attention to detail.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, preferably in a business-related field with a focus on accounting or finance.
  • Up to 2 years of Navy financial experience (NAVSEA preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and use a customized web application.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
