Description

Cervello Global Research Corporation (CGRC), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking an experienced Evaluation Writer/Lead to develop written evaluation deliverables in support of MilTech requirements. This position is responsible for producing structured reports that document the evaluation of military clothing and equipment systems in accordance with Government standards and MilTech acceptance criteria.

The Evaluation Writer/Lead will organize and structure technical content, integrate input from the evaluation team, verify factual accuracy, incorporate Government feedback, and produce final Government-ready deliverables. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a defense and Government audience are essential to success in this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce written deliverables supporting the evaluation of military clothing and equipment systems in accordance with MilTech standards and Government acceptance criteria under SOW §2.3, C.3.
  • Structure comprehensive evaluation reports by integrating findings, data summaries, and input from multiple team members into clear, cohesive, and Government-ready documents.
  • Interface directly with the MilTech Technical Point of Contact to clarify deliverable requirements, address questions, and incorporate review feedback.
  • Serve as CGRC’s primary deliverable owner for assigned task orders, with responsibility for quality, accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
  • Manage the complete deliverable review and revision cycle through final Government acceptance.
  • Coordinate with the Best Practices Analyst and Instructional Content Developer to incorporate their work into unified evaluation deliverable packages

Position Requirements

Requred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience producing written technical or analytical deliverables for DoD or Government customers
  • Demonstrated experience producing written deliverables in support of evaluating military clothing, equipment, or related systems — including evaluation reports, assessment summaries, or findings documents accepted by Government reviewers
  • Ability to structure, integrate, and edit complex technical content from multiple contributors into a single coherent Government-ready document
  • Experience working directly with Government program offices or TPOCs to understand deliverable requirements and incorporate review feedback
  • TS/SCI eligible — active or adjudicated TS/SCI clearance required; candidates without TS/SCI eligibility will not be considered
  • Able to travel to evaluation sites or Government facilities CONUS and OCONUS as required by task order; travel is reimburse
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience writing evaluation or assessment reports specifically for military clothing, soft goods, load-bearing equipment, protective gear, or extreme environment survivability systems
  • Familiarity with how military clothing and equipment is evaluated — including the types of findings, performance criteria, and user feedback that populate evaluation reports
  • Experience with OSD DOT&E reporting standards or equivalent Government evaluation documentation standards
  • Prior military service that included production of formal written reports, after-action reports, or evaluation products reviewed at a command or program office level
  • Experience managing deliverable review cycles — tracking Government comments, adjudicating feedback, and producing final accepted versions
  • Master's degree in technical writing, English, communications, or a related analytical discipline
