Job description:
Vista Metals, Inc. is a manufacturing facility near Elizabeth, PA. We are innovative, fast-paced and our goal is to find candidates that want to grow and contribute to a company that rewards you for hard work.
We are seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals in order to perform safe and effective installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all company machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose machine and equipment malfunctions.
- Plan and implement actions necessary to return machinery and equipment to operation, and prevent future breakdowns.
- Rebuild machinery and equipment as needed.
- Participate in design and installation of new facilities, machinery and equipment as needed.
- Complete appropriate paperwork for maintenance records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision and guidance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 year Technical Degree of Certification in Maintenance related field (Electrical, Electronic, Machine Repair, etc.) OR
- Minimum 5-years' experience installing, repairing, rebuilding and maintaining production equipment and precision machines
- Extensive knowledge with installing, repairing and maintaining production equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent
