Your ability to read blueprints, lay out material, and create precise parts will be put to good use on projects that are critical to the success of our machines and therefore the continued customer satisfaction of the company.   What You'll Be Doing Reading blueprints and translating them into actionable shop drawings Measuring and laying out materials using tape measures, squares, scribes, and rulers Cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling stainless steel parts Using a range of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, and scales to ensure a high quality Working with a team of experienced fabricators in a clean, well-lit shop We’re Looking for Someone Who: Has hands-on experience with metal fabrication and sheet metal machinery Knows their way around precision tools (saws, grinders, calipers, etc.) Understands technical drawings and can work independently from them Appreciates the importance of safety and knows how to use PPE properly Takes pride in doing the job right the first time Is comfortable standing for long stretches of time and lifting 30 lbs. or more   You’ll Fit In Here If You: Want to work for a company that appreciates your years of experience Are dependable, skilled, and ready to be part of a strong team Enjoy solving practical problems and working with your hands Prefer a workplace that’s organized, respectful, and focused on quality   At Hamrick, your experience isn’t just welcomed—it’s valued.
